.....Can somebody give me an answer?

I Hate Self Loathing people. (Okay Hate may be too strong of a word, it's more like... They piss me off at times. I am a patient person, but I only have so much of it.) I don't understand how someone can constantly blame their selves for every little thing, and then put themselves down even AFTER you reassure them countless amounts of times that whatever the hell their blaming themselves for...it's not their fault, in any way, shape or form.

"OMG...I'm can't do this, OMG I'm not good enough for that, or I'm not pretty enough, or you don't like me, nobody likes me" or some stupid crap like that.

I don't get it! And then what makes it worse is that when you try to be there for them even more than usual, they push you away as much as possible, and then start blaming you and then themselves (of course, why wouldn't they)

Can somebody honestly explain that to me? I would appreciate it. If there is a good reason why people constantly put themselves down, no matter how much time and effort you put into them to change their mind. I would love to know what it is. Believe me, if I can understand, maybe I won't feel like beating somebody every time they do that, but..right now... it's just....*sigh* I can't deal with it.

I'm sorry, I'm done ranting. Something I noticed just ticked me off, and I just had to get that out.

But I really would like to know why people do that. I was serious about that.
